What is Fluid Lines?

Fluid Lines is dedicated to providing a dynamic platform for artists and authors to showcase their talents and organizing events that highlight diverse voices. We believe in the power of storytelling and visual art to connect communities and inspire change.

Created by Peterborough Poet Laureate 2022-23, Kat Beeton, Fluidlines.art is an inclusive, creative space built to showcase art, writing, and performance, and the creatives that make the work.

New site coming soon

We paused the work to improve the space behind the scenes but we have a new launch date! We are aiming to launch the site in June/July 2025. Keep alert for announcements about the launch event on our social channels.

Take a look at the creative prompts below and see more on Fluid Lines Creative Facebook page or Instagram.

Flowers and narcissism

Behind the curtain

The look they give you

Did I fall or did you?

The down of it all

The lie has wings

About submissions

If you are a creative and you think what you do would fit here, submit your work to Fluid Lines. There’s no money in it – just the joy of being featured here.

Bio page – every contributor has their own bio page with image/avatar and optional links to email, website, or socials for fans and fellow creatives to follow, commission and network.

It would be great to showcase the amazing work from Peterborough (UK) and the surrounding areas so if you are local, please give a shout out to where you are when you submit. Don’t worry if you are further away, you are welcome to submit wherever you are in the world.

Give it a try – if you are reading this and you are not sure you are good enough or don’t know if your work would get selected, just go for it!
